SW: I'm backstage here with Sarah Hughes. It's been a great week here in Nice at the World Championships. What was the best part of this World Championship for you?
Sarah: You know, being in the last warm up group was really great and it was so exciting all week long--to have skated, you know, 3 great programs, I'm happy.
SW: Now, you've come to this World Championship with a new do so to speak. What made you decide and how was that process?
Sarah: Well, you know, I wanted a little bit of a change and we were gonna cut it last year, but I didn't have the guts-I was link, "No, I can't do it!" And then, so this year after Nationals I said, "You know what, I am cutting my hair--enough is enough!"
SW: So, was it fun? What did you feel like when you looked into the mirror?
Sarah: I was like, "Oh no, what did I do? Why did I do this?" But, you know, I really like it now and I think I'm going to keep it short.
SW: You look terrific and continued success!
