SW: Sarah, now what does it feel like to be competing head to head with 1988 Olympic Silver Medalist Liz Manley?
Sarah: I think it's really cool that I get to be competing against Liz Manley right now and I can't wait to go out there.
SW: Now, Liz, are you going to be using all that experience that you have to challenge Sarah Hughes?
LM: I'm gonna do my best. But I've been watching her on TV these last few weeks and she's been pretty darn good out there so it'll be fun. It's just so much fun for me to watch what's coming up and she's a beautiful skater.
SW: Do you have any advice for her?
LM: Just to keep it going. I mean, I'm a perfect example of a wonderful career she can have out of this sport. You know, for me a lot of people are saying, "How do you feel about going up against Sarah?" and I'm just like what can I say? I mean, it's fun. I enjoy working with her. I got a chance to work with her last year and we're just gonna have
some fun today. That's what it's all about and that's what she needs to learn when we come to these events, you know, it's fun.
